Fairburn’s Takes on the Sahara for Farm Africa

He’s done it! Daniel Fairburn has successfully completed two marathons in the scorching Sahara heat, pushing through 40-degree temperatures and countless blisters to raise much-needed funds for Farm Africa.

Joined by Fairburn’s production manager, Egle Kalinauskaite, the duo tackled the Moroccan desert over the weekend, proving that no challenge is too big when it comes to supporting sustainable farming and food security.

Racing for a Cause

With this latest challenge, Team Fairburn’s fundraising total has reached over £21,000—putting them well on their way to surpassing the £35,000 Daniel raised when he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in 2014 for Farm Africa.

Farm Africa works to empower smallholder farmers in eastern Africa, equipping them with the skills, tools, and resources needed to grow more food and build a sustainable future for their families and communities.
