A local team of budding young footballers has been kitted out with a smart new strip thanks to a two-year sponsorship from Fairburn’s Eggs.
 
Community sponsorship from the company means Alford Town Under 13s, who play in the Mid Lincs Youth League and are also known as The Robins, are now donning eye-catching new red and yellow shirts for their matches. 
 
Fairburn’s Eggs has close ties to the club, having been a regular sponsor over the years, and both Daniel and Stuart Fairburn have also represented the club on the pitch.
 
Daniel Fairburn said: “As a dad of four I know how important sport is, getting kids active, learning the benefits of playing in a team, and having fun. I’m delighted that our company is able to support this brilliant local club and hope it has lots of success this season.”
 
Alford Town FC was formed in 2016 and now boasts 11 teams. The Football Association has recently awarded the club the Charter Standard award for outstanding contribution to local football.
