Fairburn’s has been recognised as one of the leading businesses in Lincolnshire, scooping an East Midlands Top 200 award.

The Top 200 recognises those businesses that have delivered the greatest sustained growth over a three-year period from 2015 to 2018, all remaining resilient in the face of economic uncertainty, and Fairburn’s has been included for the first time in 163th spot.
The report shows that East Midland’s businesses are continuing to innovate and make optimistic strides forward, supported by a strong long economy which in turn is having a positive affect on the region, promoting it as a great place to work, live and do businesses.

Compiled by financial and business advisers Grant Thornton with the CBI, HSBC and Macildowie, it gives a unique insight into the performance of the East Midlands business community.
CEO Daniel Fairburn said: “For a family-owned farming business that was set up by my grandfather with just £150, I can’t tell you how delighted this makes us feel. I am really grateful to our hard working team for helping us to achieve this. To be included alongside so many successful regional businesses that are ‘shining examples of innovation and resilience in uncertain times’ is a proud moment.”

The local economy is strong and in great shape to support fast growing businesses, with 91 of the Top 200 being new entrants that haven’t appeared on the list in previous years.”
